An exciting new opportunity awaits an accomplished hospitality leader to oversee the opening of the brand-new AC Hotel National Mall, scheduled to debut in Spring 2027.
We are seeking an experienced General Manager with a passion for hotel openings, team development, operational excellence, and delivering exceptional guest experiences. If you've successfully led a Marriott hotel, managed a pre-opening, or are ready to bring your leadership expertise to one of Washington, DC's most anticipated hotel openings, we'd love to meet you.
This is a unique opportunity to build a hotel from the ground up—from recruiting your leadership team and establishing hotel culture to driving financial success and launching an outstanding guest experience from day one.
Position Summary
The General Manager is responsible for all aspects of the hotel's pre-opening planning, opening execution, and ongoing operations. This includes financial performance, guest satisfaction, associate engagement, sales strategy, revenue growth, and ensuring full compliance with Marriott brand standards.
The successful candidate is a hands-on leader who inspires teams, drives results, embraces accountability, and creates an exceptional workplace culture.
