Are you a friendly, hands-on problem solver who takes pride in keeping a hotel running smoothly? Do you enjoy troubleshooting, making repairs, and creating a safe and comfortable environment for guests?

As a Hotel Maintenance Technician, you will be an important member of our Engineering TEAM, performing general repairs, preventative maintenance, and troubleshooting throughout the hotel. From guest rooms to common areas and building systems, your work will directly contribute to an exceptional guest experience.

Responsibilities
  • Perform general maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting throughout the hotel.
  • Respond to guest room service calls and work orders in a timely and professional manner.
  • Perform routine and preventative maintenance on guest rooms, public areas, equipment, and building systems.
  • Inspect guest rooms and facilities to identify maintenance needs and potential issues.
  • Troubleshoot and perform basic repairs related to HVAC, plumbing, electrical, drywall, and PTAC units.
  • Assist with maintaining hotel equipment and mechanical systems.
  • Support fire protection, life safety, and other building safety procedures as needed.
  • Maintain the exterior of the property, including basic upkeep and repairs.
  • Assist with housekeeping and other hotel operations when needed.
  • Document completed work and communicate maintenance issues to leadership.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
  • Provide friendly and professional service when interacting with guests.
  • Work independently while also contributing to the TEAM.
  • Complete additional duties and projects as assigned by Engineering leadership.
Requirements
  • Previous maintenance experience in a branded or luxury hotel environment preferred, but we are willing to train the right hospitality professional.
  • Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, drywall, PTAC units, and electrical systems.
  • Knowledge of fire protection and life safety systems is a plus.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
  • Excellent English communication skills; must be able to read, write, and speak English.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a TEAM.
  • Ability to lift and move objects weighing 50–100 pounds.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, climb, and work in various physical positions for extended periods.
  • Flexible schedule required, including weekends and holidays.
  • Reliable, professional, and committed to providing an exceptional guest experience.
