Delaware North Gaming is hiring a full-time or part-time Catering Team Member to join our team at The Sheraton in Nashua, New Hampshire. As a Catering Team Member, you will work behind the scenes and on the front lines of catering events, to make each guest experience the best it can be.

What will you do?

  • Set up banquet and event spaces according to BEOs, setup diagrams, and event specifications. 
  • Set and arrange tables, chairs, linens, staging, dance floors, bars, podiums, and other even equipment as required. 
  • Ensure tables, chairs, and other equipment are properly aligned, space, and arranged according to the setup diagram.  
  • Complete room setups accurately and efficiently within the required timeframe. 
  • Break down event spaces promptly and return tables, chairs, equipment, and supplies to their designated storage areas. 
  • Clean and reset even spaces after each event, including vacuuming, mopping, removing trash, and wiping surfaces. 
  • Assist with moving and transporting banquet equipment and supplies throughout the hotel.  
  • Inspect tables, chairs, and equipment for damage or maintenance needs and report issues to management. 

More about you

  • Previous banquet, hotel, event setup, housekeeping, or similar hospitality experience preferred. 
  • Ability to read and follow BEOs, setup diagrams, and written instructions. 
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate room setups.
  • Previous experience operating or moving banquet equipment is preferred but not required. 

Physical requirements

  • Ability to regularly lift and carry tables, chairs, linens, equipment and supplies. 
  • Ability to push and pull loaded carts and banquet equipment.
  • Ability to safely move furniture and equipment across various surfaces. 
  • Ability to lift and move up to 40-50 pounds independently and heavier items with assistance.
