About the Role

We are seeking a Part-Time Bartender/Server to join our fast-paced, casual restaurant team. In this role, you’ll create a welcoming experience for guests while providing friendly, attentive service in both the bar and dining areas.

As a Bartender/Server, you’ll prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, take food and beverage orders, deliver meals and drinks, and ensure guests have an enjoyable dining experience from start to finish.

The Bistro is open year-round and offers a simple breakfast and dinner menu, making this an excellent opportunity for someone looking for a flexible, part-time hospitality position.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, professional, and attentive service to all guests

• Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages

• Demonstrate knowledge of spirits, cocktails, beer, and wine

• Make beverage and menu recommendations based on guest preferences

• Anticipate guest needs and respond promptly to requests

• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming bar and dining area

• Process cash and credit card transactions accurately

• Follow responsible alcohol service and food safety procedures

• Communicate effectively with kitchen, bar, and restaurant team members

• Help maximize food and beverage sales through knowledgeable and engaging service

• Follow all company policies and procedures while contributing to a positive TEAM environment

Requirements

• Previous bartending, serving, or hospitality experience preferred; willing to train the right candidate

• Must be 21+ years old to serve alcohol

• Knowledge of beer, wine, spirits, and classic cocktails preferred

• TIPS/ServSafe Alcohol Certification is a plus

• Strong customer service and communication skills

• Basic math skills for handling cash, calculating checks, and measuring ingredients

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

• Ability to safely handle food and follow proper food-handling procedures

• Reliable, professional, and comfortable working as part of a team

• Excellent English communication skills, including the ability to read, write, and speak fluently

Compensation

$10.00 per hour + applicable tips

Part-time scheduling and hours may vary based on business needs and availability.
