The DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Chicago – North Shore Conference Center in Skokie, IL is seeking a dynamic Business Transient Sales Manager to join our team. About the Role

We’re looking for a driven and relationship-focused hospitality sales professional to join our team and help grow revenue through strategic sales initiatives, new business development, and long-term client partnerships.

In this role, you’ll be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with corporate clients, identifying new business opportunities, and growing existing accounts. You’ll also support small-to-medium group bookings, corporate meetings, and catering events while working closely with hotel leadership and operations to deliver an exceptional client experience.

What You’ll Do

• Identify, prospect, and secure new business transient accounts.

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients and key accounts.

• Grow existing accounts by identifying opportunities for additional revenue.

• Conduct targeted sales calls, presentations, networking, and client outreach.

• Research the local market and competitive landscape to identify new business opportunities.

• Develop strategic account plans designed to achieve and exceed revenue goals.

• Build relationships within the local business community and participate in relevant trade organizations, networking events, and industry activities.

• Manage small-to-medium group bookings, corporate meetings, and catering events.

• Create event orders, group resumes, and client menus while coordinating with hotel teams to ensure successful execution.

• Oversee client communication, onsite event setup, and post-event follow-up.

• Collaborate with hotel leadership and TEAM members to support overall property performance and guest satisfaction.

• Represent the hotel professionally within the local business and hospitality community.

• Previous experience in hospitality, hotel sales, event sales, or a similar sales role preferred.

• Previous Hilton experience is a plus.

• Experience with group bookings, corporate meetings, and catering events preferred.

Compensation

$63,000–$68,000 annually, based on experience
