General Manager

Times Square never slows down, and neither does Moxy. We’re looking for a dynamic, hands-on General Manager for Moxy Times Square who knows how to run a great hotel, build an amazing team, and create the kind of guest experience people come to New York for.

• Run the Show: Lead all hotel operations, including Rooms, Sales, Maintenance, and overall financial performance.
• Make the Numbers Work: Own budgets, forecasts, labor costs, expenses, and profitability. You know how to turn strong performance into bottom-line results.
• Bring the Moxy Vibe: Create a fun, energetic, social atmosphere that reflects the brand’s personality and keeps guests coming back for more.
• Build a Team That Gets It: Recruit, coach, develop, and retain talented associates who deliver great service and bring their own personality to the guest experience.
• Own the Guest Experience: Set the tone for service, handle challenges with confidence, and make sure every guest feels the energy and excitement of Moxy.
• Keep the Hotel Looking Sharp: Maintain brand standards for cleanliness, appearance, maintenance, and overall product quality.
• Think Like an Owner: Partner with the hotel’s leadership team and company executives to identify opportunities, solve problems, and drive continuous improvement.
• Protect the Business: Oversee preventative maintenance, control expenses, manage risk, and protect the hotel’s physical and financial assets.

• Required: 3+ years of General Manager experience in a lifestyle hotel.
• Marriott brand experience is highly preferred.
• A bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field is strongly preferred.
• Strong financial acumen and a proven ability to drive revenue, manage expenses, control labor, and deliver profitable results.
• A hands-on leadership style with the ability to motivate teams, develop talent, and hold people accountable.
• Excellent problem-solving, organizational, communication, and decision-making skills.
• Comfort with Microsoft Office, budgeting, forecasting, and hotel financial reporting.
