Sheraton Flowood The Refuge Hotel & Conference Center is looking for a talented, creative, and hands-on Executive Chef to lead our culinary team!
We're searching for a passionate leader who thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment, loves developing people, and knows how to deliver exceptional dining experiences. From restaurant dining to weddings, banquets, and special events, you'll have the opportunity to showcase your creativity while making a lasting impact on our guests and team.
What You'll Do
Lead daily culinary operations, including restaurant, banquet, and catering services.
Create innovative menus while maintaining exceptional food quality and presentation.
Recruit, train, and inspire a high-performing culinary team.
Manage food costs, labor budgets, purchasing, and inventory.
Oversee banquet execution and ensure memorable guest experiences.
Maintain the highest standards of food safety, sanitation, and service.
What We're Looking For
Proven experience as an Executive Chef or Executive Sous Chef, preferably in a full-service hotel or resort.
Strong banquet, catering, and high-volume culinary experience.
Creative culinary skills with a solid understanding of budgeting and cost controls.
A hands-on leadership style with a passion for developing and motivating teams.
Culinary degree preferred, but equivalent experience is welcome.
