The Opportunity
Ponte Vedra Inn & Club is seeking a Housekeeper to join our Housekeeping team. This position is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, presentation, and overall condition of guest rooms and assigned resort areas to ensure an exceptional guest experience. The Housekeeper plays a critical role in upholding the resort's Five-Diamond standards by thoroughly cleaning accommodations, replenishing amenities, and preparing rooms for arriving and departing guests. This position reports to the Housekeeping Supervisor and Assistant Director of Housekeeping.
The Day-to-Day
  • Clean guest rooms, suites, and assigned areas according to established resort standards.
  • Make beds and replace linens to ensure a polished and welcoming guest room presentation.
  • Vacuum carpets, sweep and mop floors, dust furniture, and clean mirrors, windows, and fixtures.
  • Clean and sanitize guest bathrooms, including sinks, tubs, showers, toilets, and countertops.
  • Replenish towels, robes, linens, and guest amenities.
  • Empty trash and remove soiled linens from guest rooms.
  • Inspect guest rooms to ensure cleanliness, organization, and readiness for occupancy.
  • Report maintenance concerns, safety hazards, and lost-and-found items promptly.
  • Maintain housekeeping carts, equipment, and storage areas in a clean and organized manner.
  • Respond professionally and courteously to guest requests.
  • Follow departmental procedures, safety standards, and cleaning protocols.
  • Support the Housekeeping team in maintaining the exceptional standards of Ponte Vedra Inn & Club.
