The Opportunity
Ponte Vedra Inn & Club is seeking a Utility Worker to support the Stewarding team and help maintain the cleanliness, organization, and operational readiness of our Food & Beverage and Culinary operations. Reporting to the Stewarding Supervisor and Executive Steward, this role serves as an essential part of the department by ensuring kitchen equipment, dishware, cookware, banquet equipment, and work areas are properly cleaned, sanitized, and maintained. The Utility Worker contributes to the successful execution of daily dining operations and special events while supporting a safe, efficient, and high-quality working environment.
The Day-to-Day
  • Set up and maintain the dishwashing station for safe and efficient operation, reporting any equipment concerns to leadership.
  • Clean and sanitize kitchen dishware, cookware, utensils, and service equipment.
  • Clean and sanitize Food & Beverage and kitchen equipment according to established standards.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout kitchen and stewarding areas.
  • Assist with banquet and event setup, including tables, chairs, and event equipment.
  • Participate in event breakdown and post-event cleanup.
  • Support culinary and Food & Beverage operations by completing assigned stewarding duties.
  • Assist with additional operational tasks as directed by stewarding and culinary leadership.
  • Contribute to an efficient, safe, and high-quality kitchen environment.

  • Previous stewarding, dishwashing, culinary, or hospitality experience preferred; training provided for qualified candidates.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to work in a professional kitchen environment.
  • Availability to work a varied schedule including weekends and holidays.
  • Energetic, dependable, and committed to maintaining high cleanliness and sanitation standards.
