Founded in New York City in 1984, Morgans Hotel Group was the world-renowned originator of the boutique hotel concept.

By constantly looking to the future and actively reinventing the hotel experience , sbe has created breakthrough concepts that have revolutionized the hospitality industry. In fact, the very term "boutique hotel" was coined to describe our first hotel on Madison Avenue, Morgans. Our design-driven approach to reinventing the traditional hotel space has made sbe a sought after brand for guests and owners alike. 

After being acquired by sbe in 2016, the future for Morgans Hotel Group promises continued domestic and international growth. As the creator of iconic brands such as Delano and Mondrian, our hotels are located in key gateway cities around the world, including Las Vegas, Los Angeles, New York, San Francisco, South Beach, Istanbul, London, and soon Doha, Qatar.
