The Grand Hotel in Tusayan, Arizona is a division of the Xanterra Travel Collection. We offer positions in a variety of departments including: Accounting, Engineering/Maintenance, Food & Beverage, Retail, Rooms/Lodging and Support Services. 

The Grand Hotel at The Grand Canyon is the only 3-diamond hotel in the region and one of the few area hotels with an indoor heated swimming pool and spa. Built in 1998, this luxurious hotel is just one mile from the south entrance to Grand Canyon National Park, with scenic South Rim of the Canyon just a short distance away. The Grand Hotel resembles a sprawling three-story chalet with the perfect blend of rustic and modern design. Over 5 million guests visit Grand Canyon National Park each year, with a record 6 million in 2016.

The town's businesses mainly serve tourists who flock to see the Grand Canyon's sweeping views, hike its rails or hop on a mule for a trip through the vast canyon. We offer our employees free entry into the Grand Canyon and Bearizona Wildlife Park, retail discounts at the hotel, the Tusayan Trading Post and the South Rim and free train rides on the Grand Canyon Railway.

Housing & Meals

The Grand Hotel offers community housing for employees. Community living can be a great way to bond and create lifelong friendships with others who share similar interests and values, however, it does come with some challenges. Being prepared will help with your transition. Employee housing varies by position, however, most are mobile homes or dorm style. Each dorm room accommodates 2-3 people and includes beds, full bathroom, wardrobe/closet, dresser, nightstand, television and air-conditioning. Utilities, satellite TV, laundry, use of fitness center and indoor pool are included. Employees must be 18 years of age or older to live in company housing and must be actively employed by Xanterra. Pets, candles and smoking are not permitted in company housing. 

Meal plans are available for employees in company housing, however, the chef and crew are not able to accommodate all dietary needs such as vegan or allergy-related restrictions.
