Food Storeroom and Receiving Clerk (Purchasing Clerk)

Reports to: Executive Chef and  Executive Sous Chef

Job Summary

 The ideal candidate for this culinary position will be directly responsible for receiving, check quality of all food and beverage deliveries.and maintaining these areas clean and organized—an excellent entry-level position for a candidate who wishes to grow and build a career in the hospitality industry.

Education and Experience

• Grade 12 education or high school graduate

• The ability to speak Spanish is a plus.

• The ability to read food and beverage Invoices and organize the products to their respective areas.

• The ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

• Must have basic food ( culinary ) product knowledge.
• Professional Kitchen experience preferred.
• Food handlers card required.
• Push, pull or lift up to 50 pounds all day long
• Standing for long periods and walking requires climbing stairs, balancing, stoping, kneeling, crouching, bending, stretching, and twisting or reaching.
