Pool Waitstaff

Position:  Pool Wait Staff                                                                                         

Report To:  Pool Managers

Job Summary:

Under the direction of the Snack Bar Manager, the Pool Wait Staff is directly responsible for greeting the Members and their guests with a smile at the Pool area. The Pool Wait Staff is responsible for providing exceptional food and beverage service to Members and their guests. They are responsible for greeting Members and guests promptly while always exhibiting a high level of hospitality throughout their entire pool reservation.

Responsibilities:

Greet and acknowledge Members and guests in a timely manner and report complaints to management as they occur.

Work together with neighboring servers to ensure the highest quality service.

Accurately execute Member and guest orders and requests in a timely fashion.

Possess a complete and comprehensive knowledge of the menu and various liquors, beer, and wines available by the Club.

Efficiently serve food and drinks in a friendly and courteous manner.

Knowledge of and ability to perform required roles during emergency situations.

Advises supervisor of any complaints as soon as they occur.

Ensure that all workstations are completely stocked, and all supplies are available.

Assist the lifeguards with the organization of the pool deck to include tables, chairs, and towels.

Directly responsible for maintaining a clean pool deck and clearing any trash off tables or around the pool area.

Assist with lunch service for Club camps throughout the week.

Assist lifeguards with enforcing the pool rules to the Members and guests.

Perform opening and closing duties as well as side work throughout the day.

Perform other duties as assigned by the Pool Management.

Experience and Qualifications:

• The employee is frequently required to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to stoop and bend on a regular basis.
• The employee is routinely required to stand for long hours of time.
• All Pool Wait Staff employees must be ServeSafe Certified.
• Individuals 18 years of age or older need a TABC certification.

Scheduling Requirements:

Mornings, Evenings, Weekends and Holidays – based on the level of Club Activities.
