The Cluster Reservations Team is responsible for 6 Hilton properties in the Netherlands; DoubleTree by Hilton Amsterdam Centraal Station, DoubleTree by Hilton Royal Parc Soestduinen, Hilton Amsterdam, Hilton Amsterdam Airport Schiphol, Hilton Rotterdam, and Hilton The Hague.

What will I be doing?

As Reservations Agent you will be

responsible to deliver highest level of quality to our guests. Within this internship you will support the team with the following tasks:

• In contact with guests to accept and confirm individual guest reservations by e-mail or telephone
• Responsible for the accurate processing of reservations
• Updating reservations via various booking systems
• Excellent knowledge and correct use of the various hotel rates
• Correct handling of reservations documents
• Adhere to the company credit policies and procedures
• Ensure quality checks on existing reservations
• Maximize room sales and revenue for the hotel, prioritizing up-selling with a sales attitude.
• Keep guests’ information updated to maintain high level of guest service standards
• Ensuring the satisfaction and loyalty of our guests and bookers by providing optimal service conform the established standards.     

Requirements

What are we looking for?

We are currently looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Cluster Reservations Agent. This role will focus on the following skills and competences:

Hospitable & commercial attitude Good organizational and administration skills Commitment to delivering a high level of service Knowledge of hotel property management systems Excellent communication skills in English Results driven Preferably of one year relevant experience in a similar position
