In 2015, EMCAP (formerly Emerald Capital) was formed to provide time-sensitive, first mortgage bridge financing to real estate investors to fund purchases and renovations of non-owner occupied residential and commercial properties. Increased regulation of the banking industry has impeded conventional financing as an option for real estate investors in fast-moving and competitive real estate markets. EMCAP was created to fill this void.
