The current economic environment throughout New England is producing opportunities for construction companies, builders, and ‘fix & flip’ real estate investors. To capitalize in this highly competitive niche market, opportunistic investors and entrepreneurs need the ability to act quickly by securing financing in an accelerated timeframe; this is where highly regulated traditional lending institutions fall short.
In 2015, EMCAP (formerly Emerald Capital) was formed to provide time-sensitive, first mortgage bridge financing to real estate investors to fund purchases and renovations of non-owner occupied residential and commercial properties. Increased regulation of the banking industry has impeded conventional financing as an option for real estate investors in fast-moving and competitive real estate markets. EMCAP was created to fill this void.
