Job Summary:
Train Cashiers (in addition to working Cashier shifts). Know how to prepare all beverages, stock merchandise for the following day, and operate all front-of-house machines. Additionally, maintain brand cleaning standards in the front-of-house areas. The Team Leader is the face of Paris Baguette and is to ensure all customers receive friendly, fast, and accommodating guest service.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Assure all customers receive excellent guest service following Paris Baguette’s high standard of excellence.
- Check the quality of all the products for displays and ensure “FIFO” is being maintained.
- Know and be able to train new hires on how to enter customers’ orders and locate orders in the POS.
- Know how to process voids/refunds and contact third-party ordering platforms, if needed.
- Create a productive teamwork environment.
- Assure food safety guidelines are maintained.
- Know and be able to train new hires on how to make beverages and batches per brand recipes.
- Maintain cleanliness during business hours, including storage areas.
- Refill and organize all pastries and beverages on display. Special attention to seasonal transitions.
- Assist in unloading and organizing deliveries (up to twice a week)
- Assure all catering orders are timely and accurately processed.
- For Opening Shifts and Closing Shifts: Adhere to the daily checklist.
- Train new team members in all tasks associated with job roles.
- Inform management of all employee concerns.
- Conduct pre-shift meetings with staff for daily deployment and updates.
- Track attendance every week and report to AGM and GM.
- Assist with conducting inventory counts on designated days, when needed.
- Abide by and enforce the SB Yen and PB policies and procedures.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Education/Experience
- 1 to 2 years of food handling/store experience, Paris Baguette experience preferred.
- High School Diploma/GED.
- Chicago Food Manager and Illinois Food Certification, or the ability to become certified.
