EDUCATION: College degree required. Concentration in hospitality, sales, communications or recreation. Ability to speak, read, write, and comprehend the English language at a level sufficient to communicate effectively with clients, members, guests, and co-workers.
TRAINING & EXPERIENCE: Experience in sales, relationship management, membership associations and/or fundraising. Knowledge of social etiquette, High-energy, outgoing personality and self-starter. Organizational skills and attention to detail. Strong technical literacy skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, website management and social media. Team player able to foster relationships with Members, guests and fellow employees
JOB SUMMARY: The Member Relations Manager is responsible for creating a welcoming and professional environment for all members, employees, building management and the general public. Must be able to interact with Club members in a positive, courteous and professional manner. This position is directly responsible for revenue growth of member events and member usage through timely and effective member communication. This position should implement and create year round recreational events for adults and children. Ensure the finest level of service and programming is provided to our members and guests. The focus will be to nurture relationships with our members while protecting and strengthening the Club brand. This position is directly responsible for improved member retention and member usage through timely and effective member communication.. This position partners with the membership sales team to ensure all new members get connected into the Club.
PHYSICAL ABILITIES: Must be able to stand, sit for extended hours and provide tours of the property, highlighting specific points of interest.
