Job Summary:

Our Sandwich Team Members are true masters of their craft. The quality and beauty of their creations are second to none. That level of quality and commitment to excellence is found in everyone who works with us. Under this role, you will be responsible for preparing sandwiches, salads, and sauces. The ideal candidate will help to achieve our mission to bring expertly crafted baked and brewed goods to our guests through a warm and welcoming bakery café experience that delivers joy to everyone.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Prepare a variety of sandwiches and salads.
  • Being a team player, assist and support in all areas of the restaurant when needed.
  • Prepare dressings and sauces for sandwiches and pastries according to Brand Standards.
  • Ensures the sandwich display is presentable for internal and external customers.
  • Completes various reports for records such as production, usage, and waste.
  • Maintain daily par levels and restock the sandwich display throughout the shift.
  • Demonstrates knowledge of the brand and menu items.
  • Informs supervisor when equipment is not working properly and when food supplies are getting low.
  • Sanitation procedures, maintaining overall cleanliness of workstation and kitchen.
  • Adhere to Food Safety Policies and ensure proper labeling of all containers storing food or chemicals.
  • Receive deliveries and store food in designated containers and storage areas in an organized manner
  • Supporting coworkers in training initiatives.
  • Perform other related job duties as assigned.

Education/Experience

  • Minimum of one year of food handling/store experience, Paris Baguette experience preferred.
  • High School Diploma/GED.
  • Illinois Food Certification, or the ability to become certified.
