Opportunity: FlowRider Wave Operator
Create a safe, exciting, and engaging experience for guests utilizing the FlowRider surf simulator in accordance with established guest service and safety standards.
Essential Job Functions
- Operate the FlowRider wave attraction with a focus on safety and exceptional guest service.
- Monitor rider activity to ensure safe usage and enforce ride rules and safety protocols consistently.
- Assist guests who may fall or struggle during the ride; respond quickly and safely to ensure their well-being.
- Educate guests on proper riding form, safety procedures, and FlowRider etiquette.
- Interact positively with guests of all ages, including children and parents.
- Perform daily inspections and maintenance of equipment and ride area to ensure cleanliness and functionality.
- Support other recreational or aquatic activities as needed.
- Follow sustainability guidelines and practices related to HHM’s EarthView program.
- Practice safe work habits, wear protective equipment, and follow MSDS and OSHA standards.
- Perform other duties as requested by management.
Position Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong physical stamina, including the ability to stand for long periods and assist riders physically.
- CPR, First Aid, and AED certification preferred (or ability to obtain upon hire).
