Tideline Oceanfront Resort and Spa in Palm Beach Florida is a luxury oceanfront property known for its private white sand beach, top-tier spa, and world-class dining at two on-site restaurants. We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to lead our culinary team and oversee all kitchen operations across the resort. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned culinary professional with strong ties to the Palm Beach area to create exceptional high-volume dining experiences in a stunning oceanfront setting.

In this leadership role, the Executive Chef will guide menu innovation aligned with the Tideline brand, manage the culinary staff, and maintain efficient kitchen operations including inventory control and cost management to uphold the highest standards of quality, service, and luxury. The ideal candidate is a creative and organized culinary expert who can honor an established core menu while introducing fresh ideas and leading a team to deliver memorable oceanfront dining experiences for our guests.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all kitchen operations across Tideline’s dining outlets including two restaurants, a bar, in-room dining, and catering for weddings and events, ensuring consistency, efficiency, and excellence in a high-volume environment

• Execute established core menus with precision and consistency, maintaining the highest standards of quality, taste, and presentation

• Collaborate with the Food and Beverage Director and resort leadership to develop and implement innovative seasonal menus that reflect Tideline’s luxury oceanfront brand using fresh local ingredients and current culinary trends

• Hire, train, and mentor culinary staff including chefs, cooks, and stewards, fostering a culture of excellence, teamwork, and accountability

• Manage food inventory, purchasing, and kitchen budgets with focus on cost control and waste reduction while maintaining exceptional quality

• Maintain strict adherence to food safety and sanitation standards and ensure a safe and spotless kitchen that complies with all health regulations

• Monitor food preparation and execution to guarantee every dish meets luxury resort standards

• Support brand standards and enhance guest experience by working closely with other departments on special events such as weddings and culinary promotions

• Engage with guests during dining events and VIP occasions as a culinary ambassador, gathering feedback and delivering personalized memorable experiences

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading a high-volume upscale kitchen with annual food sales exceeding three million dollars preferably in a luxury resort or fine dining establishment of similar scale

• Strong leadership and people management skills with a track record of recruiting, training, and motivating diverse kitchen teams in a high expectation environment

• Exceptional culinary skills with ability to flawlessly execute established menu items and contribute creative ideas for seasonal specials and new menu offerings

• Excellent organizational and communication skills with ability to multitask, delegate effectively, and collaborate with other departments and senior management

• Familiarity with the Palm Beach culinary scene and local suppliers is a plus; candidates with established Palm Beach connections are encouraged to apply
