The Director of Sales is responsible for driving group and catering revenue for Tideline Ocean Resort & Spa, an independently owned luxury boutique oceanfront resort in Palm Beach. This role is a hands-on leader who develops and executes sales strategies to maximize group room nights, F&B banquet revenue, and key partnerships, while embodying Tideline’s commitment to elevated service, exclusivity, and luxury. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Sales Leadership 

 Develop and implement proactive sales strategies to drive group room nights and banquet revenue across corporate, leisure, social, and wedding segments.  Personally solicit, negotiate, and close group and event business to meet and exceed sales targets.  Cultivate strong relationships with luxury travel advisors, corporate planners, wedding specialists, and key Palm Beach clientele. 

• Business Development

  Identify and pursue new business opportunities within high-end leisure, corporate, and social event markets. oRepresent the resort at industry events, trade shows, and luxury travel forums to position Tideline as Palm Beach’s premier oceanfront boutique resort.  Build and manage strategic partnerships with CVBs, consortia, and luxury travel networks

.• Account Management 

 Maintain and grow relationships with key accounts, ensuring consistent repeat business.  Oversee the contracting, planning, and coordination of group bookings and catered events in collaboration with operations and F&B teams.  Partner with Revenue Management to align group pricing strategies with resort demand and profitability goals.

 • Collaboration & Communication 

 Work closely with the General Manager and cross-functional leaders to ensure seamless delivery of luxury service standards for all group and event guests.  Collaborate with marketing to develop targeted campaigns that support sales initiatives.  Provide accurate forecasts, sales reports, and competitive analyses to leadership

. Qualifications • 

Minimum 5–7 years of progressive sales experience in luxury hotels or resorts; boutique or independent property experience strongly preferred. • Proven track record of driving group room and banquet revenue in a competitive luxury market. • Established relationships within the Palm Beach, South Florida, and national luxury travel and event planning communities. • Exceptional negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills. • Strong financial acumen with ability to create and manage budgets, forecasts, and revenue targets. • Self-motivated, results-driven, and comfortable in a lean, hands-on environment. • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Business, or related field preferred.
