The opportunity

Delaware North Sportservice is hiring part-time Warehouse Supervisor to join our team at Petco Park in San Diego, California. As a Warehouse Supervisor, you will assist management in carrying out the daily operations of the commissary and warehouse department.

$25.00 – $30.00 / hour

What will you do?

  • Supervise the commissary team, including assigning duties, training, coaching, and counseling
  • Ensure proper stock of food and beverage products
  • Oversee inventory control, including receiving shipments, disposing of outdated material, and cycle counting
  • Maintain safety, security, and cleanliness of storage areas, passageways, elevators, and work areas
  • Oversee the proper closing of the assigned area
  • Enforce company policies and safety regulations
  • Initiate and organize procedures to set standards for the warehouse

More about you

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Minimum 6 months of food and beverage commissary or related experience required
  • Previous experience with Excel or similar database management computer systems is required
  • Strong management skills; ability to delegate and coach others
  • Basic math skills
  • No college degree required

Physical requirements

  • Ability to lift, push and pull up to 165 pounds
  • Ability to pull heavy carts of stock throughout the facility
  • Ability to work in a warehouse environment where temperatures may range from cold to hot depending on the season
