The Lodge of Four Seasons, a premier resort destination in the heart of the Missouri Ozarks, is seeking an experienced and visionary Director of Sales & Marketing to lead the strategic growth of one of the region’s most iconic lakeside resorts.

Situated on the shores of Lake of the Ozarks, the Lodge offers a unique blend of resort leisure, golf, spa, and group meeting experiences. This role provides an exciting opportunity to lead a high-performing team and position the resort as the leading destination for meetings, events, and leisure travel in the Midwest.

Position Overview

The Director of Sales & Marketing is responsible for the strategic leadership and execution of all sales and marketing initiatives for the resort. This role oversees group sales, catering sales, transient strategy, digital marketing, and revenue-driving partnerships. The Director will work closely with resort leadership to maximize occupancy, group revenue, and overall market share.

This position is ideal for a dynamic hospitality leader with experience in resort, conference, and leisure-driven markets.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the annual Sales & Marketing Plan to achieve revenue, occupancy, and ADR goals.

• Lead and mentor the sales, catering, and marketing teams to drive group, corporate, and leisure business.

• Target key segments including corporate meetings, association groups, weddings, golf groups, and leisure travel.

• Maintain strong relationships with meeting planners, event organizers, and travel partners.

• Partner with revenue management to optimize pricing, segmentation, and distribution strategies.

• Oversee digital marketing, branding, and promotional campaigns to strengthen the resort’s market position.

• Analyze STR reports and competitive market data to drive RevPAR index and market share growth.

• Represent the resort at industry trade shows, regional events, and networking opportunities.

• Work collaboratively with operations to ensure exceptional guest experiences for group and leisure guests.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive hotel or resort sales leadership experience, preferably as Director of Sales or Director of Sales & Marketing.

• Experience in resort, conference center, or large full-service hotel environments strongly preferred.

• Proven success driving group, catering, and leisure revenues.

• Strong leadership and team development skills.

• Experience with STR analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and revenue strategy.

• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities.
