Restaurant Supervisor – Zephyr

The Restaurant Supervisor at Zephyr supports daily front-of-house operations by ensuring service runs smoothly, efficiently, and in alignment with Hotel Phoenix standards. This role works closely with the Restaurant Floor Manager to lead the team on the floor, maintain service quality, and deliver an elevated guest experience.

Floor Operations Support

• Assist in overseeing daily service operations, ensuring a smooth and well-paced flow of service
• Support floor leadership by guiding servers, bartenders, hosts, and support staff during service
• Ensure proper setup, cleanliness, and readiness of the dining room before, during, and after service
• Help manage table flow, seating efficiency, and service timing

Guest Experience

• Provide attentive, engaging, and personalized service to guests
• Address guest needs and concerns promptly, escalating when necessary
• Support in creating a welcoming and energetic dining environment reflective of Zephyr’s brand

Team Support & Coaching

• Reinforce service standards and assist with training new and existing team members
• Provide real-time guidance and support to ensure service consistency
• Promote teamwork, professionalism, and a positive work environment

Operational Responsibilities

• Assist with opening and closing procedures, including cash handling and reporting (if applicable)
• Support inventory awareness and proper handling of restaurant supplies
• Maintain clear communication between front-of-house and back-of-house teams

Compliance & Standards

• Follow and enforce health, safety, and sanitation standards
• Ensure responsible alcohol service and adherence to company policies
• Maintain compliance with all Hotel Phoenix procedures and expectations

• 1–2 years of restaurant experience in a leadership or supervisory role preferred
• Strong guest service skills with a passion for hospitality
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs
• Comfortable working in a dynamic restaurant environment
