Delaware North is hiring a full-time Collaboration Governance Engineer to join our team in Buffalo, New York. As a Collaboration Governance Engineer, you will be responsible for owning and continuously improving the organization’s Microsoft 365 and data protection ecosystem. Pay

Minimum – Anticipated Maximum Base Salary: $100,700 – $136,000 / year

In addition to base salary, we offer an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan. The advertised pay range represents what we believe at the time of this job posting, that we would be willing to pay for this position. Only in special circumstances, where a candidate has education, training, or experience that far exceeds the requirements for the position, would we consider paying higher than the stated range. What will you do?

  • Define and manage Microsoft 365 data protection and governance policies, including classification, data loss prevention, retention, and information lifecycle management 
  • Implement and maintain security and compliance controls across Microsoft 365 services to protect sensitive data and meet organizational and regulatory requirements 
  • Monitor the Microsoft 365 environment through protection, auditing, reporting, and incident response processes to prevent data loss, misuse, and user disruption 
  • Maintain a secure, stable, and efficient Microsoft 365 environment through effective governance, monitoring, recovery, and tenant administration 
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to enable secure collaboration, ensure data resilience, and strengthen data protection capabilities 
  • Continuously improve user experience and system performance by optimizing policies, minimizing disruption, and supporting secure and sustainable use of Microsoft 365 

More about you

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in information management, computer science, computer systems engineering, or related field 
  • Minimum of 10 years of related experience 
  • DLP experience within the M365 environment with a high level of expertise with SharePoint 
  • Experience in change management, documentation, and process building    
  • M365 experience with the full scope of services, Copilot and Agent management, Exchange, Teams, Licensing, and Access management
