The PM Houseperson supports hotel operations by maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of public spaces, assisting guests with requests, and providing basic property support throughout the evening hours. This role serves as a visible presence throughout the hotel, helping create a welcoming, safe, and memorable experience for every guest while ensuring team members have the resources they need to operate efficiently.

Job Responsibilities:
Deliver guest-requested items and amenities promptly and with a friendly, service-oriented attitude.
Maintain cleanliness of public areas, including the lobby, hallways, pool area, public restrooms, breakfast area, fitness center, entrances, and parking lot.
Perform routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, emptying trash receptacles, cleaning windows, wiping surfaces, and restocking paper products and guest supplies.
Support the housekeeping team by transporting soiled linens, stocking storage closets, and assisting with laundry operations as needed.
Monitor guest areas throughout the evening to ensure cleanliness, safety, and a welcoming atmosphere.
Assist with basic maintenance and troubleshooting tasks, including resetting televisions, replacing batteries, addressing minor guestroom concerns, and coordinating larger issues with the maintenance team.
Understand emergency procedures, including basic fire panel awareness, emergency response protocols, and key control procedures.
Conduct routine property walks and report safety concerns, maintenance deficiencies, suspicious activity, or security issues to management immediately.
Greet all guests encountered during your shift with a positive attitude, friendly smile, and a genuine willingness to help.
Coordinate with housekeeping, front desk, and maintenance teams to resolve guest requests quickly and efficiently.
Comply with hotel procedures for lost and found items and maintain confidentiality regarding guest information.
Complete all required safety trainings and certifications.
Maintain a professional appearance and represent the hotel in accordance with company standards.
Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed to support evolving business demands and deliver exceptional hospitality.
Job Qualifications:
Previous experience in housekeeping, hospitality, maintenance support, janitorial services, or guest services preferred.
Strong commitment to guest satisfaction and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation.
Energetic, dependable, and self-motivated with a positive, team-oriented attitude.
Comfortable interacting with guests and serving as a visible ambassador for the hotel during evening operations.
Ability to troubleshoot basic maintenance concerns and communicate effectively with other departments.
Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays based on business needs.
Physical Demands:
Must be able to lift, push, pull, or carry up to 50 pounds independently.
This position requires standing and walking for the majority of the shift, with frequent bending, stretching, lifting, twisting, pushing, pulling, and repetitive use of arms and hands.
Must be able to navigate all areas of the property, including stairs, guest floors, exterior spaces, and pool areas.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of service and attention to detail.
Must be able to work indoors and outdoors and tolerate varying environmental conditions, including heat, humidity, cold, and inclement weather as necessary.
