Sales Manager
Reports To: Director of Sales / General Manager (in property); Regional Director of Sales (out of property)

About the Role
Plan, sell, and coordinate group and corporate meetings, banquets, and room sales to meet revenue goals. Negotiate room and catering rates, dates, and space for groups of all sizes. Assist in marketing efforts.

What You’ll Do

  • Book new and repeat business through calls, referrals, outside sales visits, and networking
  • Work with the Director of Sales on pricing, goals, and promotions
  • Plan event details with clients, including space, menus, and billing, and upsell when possible.
  • Must work events with catering staff
  • Prepare contracts and share client needs with hotel departments
  • Resolve client concerns quickly and professionally
  • Keep accurate records, contracts, and group histories

What You Bring

  • Hotel sales or hospitality experience helpful, not required
  • Good negotiation, communication, and customer-service skills
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to juggle multiple accounts
  • Works well independently and on a team
  • Comfortable with computers, email, and spreadsheets
  • Motivated to meet sales goals in a fast-paced setting

Hours
Minimum 50 hours over five days; schedule varies with business needs.  Weekend availability a must
