Purpose:

We’re looking for a positive and professional Hotel Front Desk Agent to deliver an exceptional experience to every guest at our hotel. You are the first and last point of contact with the guests.  The Front Desk Agent has the opportunity to set the tone for a wonderful and personalized guest experience for each guest.  You’ll welcome guests, manage their information, distribute their keys and room assignments, and answer any general inquiries to ensure they have an excellent stay with us.  The ideal candidate has brilliant communication skills, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to guest satisfaction! 

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Creating a smooth and easy experience for guests so they can get the most out of their stay is critical!
  • Tailor the experience for each guest at check-in by identifying key details like birthdays, anniversaries, weddings etc. or if the guests are traveling with family or friends.
  • Anticipate and deliver guests needs by utilizing departments throughout the hotel.
  • Verify revenue from all sources is accurately balanced, follow up on any discrepancies.
  • Post any transactions needed.
  • Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Answer the phone and complete any guest requests.
  • Make reservations over the phone and in person.
  • Listen to guests’ complaints or concerns and resolve their issues in a timely and satisfactory manner.
  • Keep an amazing line of communication with staff and Management.
  • Night Auditor 1-2 days a week. 

Skills:

  • Experience in Guest Services, and strong knowledge of Opera Cloud, MARSHA, Micros, and IMS
  • Experience in night audit and or front desk required
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills to enhance the service standards throughout the operation
  • Excellent communication, guest service and time management skills
  • Detail Oriented
  • Able to organize, plan ahead and manage workload
  • Flexible Schedule
  • Team player
  • Working knowledge of basic computer skills including Microsoft Office and use of the internet
  • High school diploma required
