Busser / Server Assistant - New Asian Fusion Rooftop Restaurant

We are hiring Server Assistants for our new modern Asian restaurant - the Hestia, which is located in Charlotte, NC. The Hestia will feature a sushi and an Oyster bar, A5 Miyazaki Wagyu, Hyper Fresh Seafood, and an extensive menu of Modern Asian Cuisine. The restaurant will have Spectrum Dining, a fully immersive 5D projection room, 3,000 square feet of outdoor dining and lounge, as well as extensive wine and Sake offerings with classic and featured craft cocktails.

Role Responsibilities: As a Server Assistant you will set tables, serve food orders, and remove used dishes and utensils. You will ensure our guests have a high-quality dining experience by serving their food in a timely and accurate manner.

• Deliver food orders from the kitchen to customers’ tables.
• Act as the contact point between Front of the House and Back of the House staff
• Assist the wait staff with table setting by placing appropriate tableware, eating utensils and napkins.
• Assist with serving drinks and hors d’oeuvres, upon guests’ arrival.
• Ensure food is served in accordance with safety standards (e.g. proper temperature).
• Check in with customers and take additional orders or refill water, as needed.
• Remove dirty dishes and utensils.
• Answer guests’ questions about ingredients and menu items.
• Inform restaurant staff about customers’ feedback or requests (e.g. when they ask for the check).
