Position Purpose

The Dishwasher ensures that all kitchenware and dining utensils are cleaned and

sanitized efficiently to support restaurant operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain the dishwashing machine, ensuring proper functioning

    and cleanliness

  • Sort, rinse, and load dishes, utensils, glassware, and other kitchen equipment into

    the dishwasher, following established procedures and guidelines

  • Monitor and maintain dishwashing supplies, including detergents and rinse

    agents, promptly notifying the supervisor or manager when supplies need

    replenishment

  • Ensure all dishes, utensils, and equipment are properly cleaned, sanitized, and

    stored in their designated areas

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the dishwashing and storage areas,

    including regular cleaning of the dishwashing machine, sinks, and work surfaces

  • Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including proper handling of

    cleaning chemicals and maintaining a clean and hazard-free work environment

  • Support the kitchen team by assisting with various tasks, such as receiving and

    storing deliveries, restocking supplies, and assisting in general kitchen cleanliness.

    Requirements

  • Prior dishwashing or kitchen experience preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
