About the Role: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Landscape Technician to join our team. As a Landscape Technician, you will be responsible for performing a variety of landscaping tasks to enhance the beauty and functionality of outdoor spaces. This is a hands-on position that requires knowledge of various landscaping techniques and abilities.

Responsibilities:
- Ensures safe and skilled operation of small powered equipment: Maintenance Vehicles, Blowers, Rotary Mowers, String Trimmers and Edgers.
- Prepares soil for planting beds and lawn areas.
- Operates mechanical equipment such as mowers, weed trimmers and utility vehicles.
- Plants trees, shrubs, turf grass and flowers.
- Prunes and trims trees and shrubs.
- Mowing
- Ensure that at the end of the day the equipment and hand tools are thoroughly cleaned and then stored in its proper location.
- Maintains a clean landscape environment through trash removal and debris cleanup.
- Maintains landscape through application of mulch, water, fertilizer, and grooming.
- Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.
- Performs other duties as required.
Requirements:
- Prior work experience in a hotel environment or similar role is ideal, but willing to train the right person. We are dedicated to thoroughly training & developing our team into hotel leaders through interactive teamwork in a positive work environment!
- Must be able to work a flexible evening schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
- Able to stand and walk for extended periods
- Excellent English communication skills and able to read, write and speak fluently
- Bi-lingual (English and Spanish speaking) is a plus
