We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Financial Controller to oversee the financial operations of a growing hospitality management company. Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Management & Reporting
  • Oversee all accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger functions across the portfolio.

  • Prepare and review monthly financial statements, variance analyses, and ownership reports.

  • Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end close processes.

  • Consolidate financial results across multiple properties and management entities.

  • Maintain compliance with GAAP and hospitality accounting standards.

Budgeting & Forecasting
  • Lead the annual budgeting process for managed properties.

  • Assist General Managers and property leadership with financial planning and forecasting.

  • Monitor property performance against budgets and forecasts and provide actionable insights.

Internal Controls & Compliance
  • Implement and maintain strong internal financial controls across properties.

  • Ensure compliance with ownership agreements, management agreements, and lender requirements.

  • Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, and ownership groups during audits and tax filings.

Cash Flow & Asset Management
  • Monitor cash flow across properties and management entities.

  • Oversee bank reconciliations and treasury functions.

  • Assist ownership with capital planning and financial strategy for managed assets.

Team Leadership
  • Supervise and mentor property-level accountants or accounting staff.

  • Provide financial guidance and support to General Managers.

  • Foster a culture of accountability, transparency, and operational partnership.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

  • Accounting or finance experience, preferably within hospitality or hotel management

  • Experience with multi-property hotel financial reporting

  • Strong knowledge of hotel accounting systems (M3, ProfitSword, Sage, or similar platforms preferred)

  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modeling

  • CPA or hospitality accounting experience strongly preferred
