Room Attendant

Key Responsibilities: 

• Clean and tidy guest rooms according to company and brand standards
• Change bed linens and make beds
• Replace towels, toiletries, and other room supplies
• Vacuum carpets, dust furniture, and sanitize surfaces
• Clean bathrooms (toilets, sinks, showers, mirrors)
• Report any maintenance issues (e.g., broken fixtures)
• Restock housekeeping carts with supplies
• Ensure guest privacy and security while working
• Respond to guest requests politely and efficiently

Skills and Qualifications:

• Attention to detail and cleanliness
• Time management and ability to work efficiently
• Physical stamina (standing, bending, lifting, walking)
• Basic English communication skills
• Customer service mindset
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team

• Able to lift and carry up to 50lbs
• Ability to lift, push or pull heavy equipment up to 50lbs, and stand, walk, bend, stoop, and kneel for extended periods with or without reasonable accommodation
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends, evenings, and holidays

Compensation:

The anticipated compensation range for this position in NYC is $18-20 per hour. The exact hourly rate offered to a successful candidate will depend on several factors, including but not limited to years of experience within the job and industry, education, and more.
