The North West Company Fox Lake

The North West Company Inc. is proud of the active role we play within the communities we serve, striving to make a positive, progressive difference. Our contributions within the community of Fox Lake First Nation, AB, are a testament to our commitment. Fox Lake Cree Nation is an unincorporated community within the Fox Lake 162 Indian reserve. Located 180 km east of High Level in Northern Alberta and on the south side of the Pace River. The reserve has a population of 2,119 residents, as per 2019 Census of the Government of Alberta, where the majority of them belong to Little Red River Cree Nation. The reserve can be accessed by plane, by barge during the summer or on a winter road on the Peace River.
