Cook - Snack Bar Kitchen

Reports to: Executive Chef, Executive Sous Chef

Job Summary

This is a seasonal full time cook position  for the Pool restaurant. 

• Food Handlers Card is needed

Education and/or Experience

• Grade 12 education. 

• Two years of comparable Line Cook experience preferred.

• The ability to read, write and execute recipes

• The ability to handle stations and work in a fast paced environment.

• Snack bar consist of Burgers, Salads, Fry foods.

Job Knowledge, Core Competencies and Expectations 

• Trained to set up station.

• Very Consistent in knife handling skills and Cooking.

• Be on time to work and professional looking.

• Is knowledgeable about the menu.

• Ability to multi task on the Line.

• Flexible Schedule

• This person has to maintain the Snack bar kitchen during the summer time.  Job duties include cleaning all equipment, fryers, label and date all food related items.  

• Take orders and produce orders from our members.

• Must have some knowledge of cocktails.  Will need a TABC and Food Handlers Certification.

• Required to stand for long periods and walk, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, stretch and twist or reach.

• Push, pull or lift up to 50 pounds.

• Continuous repetitive motions.

• Work in hot, humid and noisy environment.
