Assistance Director of Maintenance

Now hiring for an Assistant Director of Maintenance. We are looking for capable and highly-motivated maintenance professionals who take great pride in their work and a job well done. This person must be able to provide exceptional customer-service and respond to all assigned tasks properly with a positive attitude. The candidate is responsible for the general upkeep and repair of the hotel properly, and assisting the Director of Maintenance in managing a staff of technicians. Retirees are welcome. They ensure that all facets of the location are in safe working order. To be part of the team, you should enjoy providing excellent customer service as well as working in a fast-paced environment. This is a hands on position, it is not a desk position assigning work.

Job Duties (not limited to):

• Promptly respond to front desk requests, guest problems or concerns
• Assists Director of Maintenance
• Informs front desk when work order is complete
• Perform preventative maintenance
• Assign work to techs
• Oversee repairs and/or make recommendations for repairs
• May perform work related to mechanical, electrical, HVAC, refrigeration and plumbing systems.
• May perform painting, carpentry, plumbing, entry door locks
• Operate resort pools, opening and closing
• Maintain all storage areas, shops and mechanical areas in a clean, safe, secure manner.
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Must have 2+ years experience in hotel and/or apartment supervisor or leader
• Must have valid driver's license
• Must be able to lift 50+ pounds
• Must be able to work evenings, holidays and weekends
• Must have all tools needed to complete job
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time
