Join our team! We have an immediate openings for individuals who are committed to elevating the member and guest experience to fill the position of Full-Time Complex Revenue Manager.

JOB SUMMARY:

This position contributes to the success of Los Angeles Athletic Club and additional properties (“Company”), by working with revenue, sales, and marketing teams to maximize revenue and yield penetration through proper management of room inventories and products, across all distribution channels for assigned hotel(s). This is a corporate office-based position that supports two or more properties. Determine and implement strategies to achieve this through analytical and technical knowledge of hotel revenue systems and business intelligence tools.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Run daily pickup reports and audit room revenues and redemptions
  • Ensure system integrations are working correctly, including reservation integrations and correct segmentation mapping
  • Coordinate with on-property teams to ensure property management is set up for optimal performance
  • Develop and recommend strategies to maximize revenue generation and exceed goals
  • Including but limited to room product, segmentation mix and pricing
  • Implement, quantify, and revise strategies
  • Compile data, analyze trends, and develop accurate period forecasts by expected deadlines
  • Validate forecast with appropriate property team members, develop plans to improve performance
  • Maintain revenue management and reservations systems including distribution to 3rd parties
  • Create and oversee transient rate plans
  • Manage booking engine content
  • Conduct weekly strategy meetings to ensure all implemented tactics are achieving desired effect
  • Monitor pace and pickup
  • Adjust pricing across segments, products, and channels
  • Manage yielding of discount segments
  • Ensure STR matches P&L, provide reports and analysis for weekly and monthly communication to owners on topics related to forecast, STR performance, and revenue strategies
  • Assist in developing and inputting annual budget and marketing plans
  • Contribute to meeting/exceeding the overall hotel(s) goals
  • Collaborate with Director of Sales in the validation of optimal business mix between Group, Transient, and Contract
    • Provide stay pattern, displacement analysis, and pricing recommendations for group and negotiated rates
    • Work with Sales team to establish & update Group MARs &ceilings
  • Provide feedback on content and promotions to Digital Strategy team
  • Advise policies and set procedures for additional tasks that cross disciplines between Revenue Management, Sales, Digital Strategy, Operations, and Finance

MUST HAVE:

EDUCATION, LICENSES, & CERTIFICATION:

  • Required: Minimum of five (5) years of experience in same or similar positions in the Hospitality industry
  • Required: High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
  • Ideal: Bachelor’s or Master’s College Degree in Hospitality Management or related field
  • Required: Current California Driver License with satisfactory Department of Motor Vehicle driving record.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Required: At least eighteen (18) years of age.
  • Required: Reliable and punctual attendance.
  • Required: Excellent time-management skills; prioritizing and completing assigned job tasks effectively.
  • Required: Travel (by vehicle and plane) for business, training, and/or development, including overnight trips.
  • Required: Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Required: Travel for business purposes, including overnight travel
  • Required: Computer Experience: proficient Microsoft Office programs, Outlook, and Revenue Management Systems
  • Required: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to convey messages clearly and compose correspondence with correct and proper grammar.
  • Required: Strong presentation skills; convey messages clearly and confidently; persuade and effect change positively.
  • Required: Capable of working effectively independently with minimal supervision
  • Required: Strong analytical skills.
  • Required: High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Required: Strong organizational skills
  • Required: Ability to prioritize effectively and efficiently meet deadlines and produce work in a timely manner.
  • Required: Ability to elicit and accept constructive feedback.
  • Required: Knowledge of hospitality sales, marketing, and other revenue management functions to include research, planning, market positioning, market segments, internal marketing, distribution channels, sales management, reservations, and yield management
  • Required: Proficient at statistical and competitive analysis
  • Required: Strong interpersonal skills and possession of a full understanding of professional business ethics, decorum, and social skills
  • Required: Professional appearance and adherence to dress code standards
  • Required: Ability to work well under deadline pressure

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS, DEMANDS, AND WORKING CONDITIONS:

Physical Exertion – Sedentary work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. Work involves sitting most of the time; walking and standing are required only occasionally.

Pay: Annual Salary Range $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 USD
