The Public Area Attendant/Housekeeping Hosts create an experience for our hotel guests by offering them a larger than home experience with welcoming, helpful, and exceptional service, while maintaining a clean, comfortable, and inviting environment. This position is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the guest rooms as assigned. Previous cleaning experience as well as the ability to communicate well with guests preferred.

As Public Area Attendant/Housekeeping Host you will

• This position hours are 2 days from 7a-3pm; 2 days from 3p-11p and one mid shift 12-8peach week. Applicant must be able to work required hours.
• Ensure public hotel areas are clean and tidy, taking care to remove or replace anything out of order.
• Responding to guest request in a timely manner.
• Provide excellent customer service at all times.
• Clean restrooms conduct public area wall and floor services, vacuum, tidy, and polish glass.
• Use your eye for detail to report missing or found articles and any sign of damage or needed repair.
• Be graciously attentive to guests, answering questions and getting additional help when it is needed.

Fundamentals

Prior housekeeping or janitorial experience is helpful. The ability to communicate effectively in Basic English is needed. The ability to operate a vacuum, floor buffer, carpet cleaner and pressure washer is expected. This job requires continuous movement, regularly bending, lifting, pushing, pulling, carrying, and moving up to 25-30 pounds. You will also lift or move up to 50 pounds occasionally. You must also be able to stand and walk for an entire shift and perform repetitive motions.
