Five Steakhouse General Manager

The Five Steakhouse located at the iconic Saint John's Resort is seeking an experienced and dynamic individual to join our team as the Restaurant General Manager. Key Responsibilities:

• Operational Excellence: Oversee day-to-day operations of the steakhouse, ensuring seamless service, high-quality food, and a positive guest experience. Implement and maintain operational standards to uphold the restaurant's reputation for excellence. 
• Staff Management: Recruit, train, and manage a professional and customer-focused team. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment. Conduct performance evaluations, provide feedback, and address any issues promptly.
• Financial Management: Manage budgetary goals, control costs, and optimize profitability. Monitor and analyze financial reports to identify opportunities for improvement. Implement strategies to achieve revenue and profit targets.
• Customer Service: Lead by example in delivering exceptional customer service. Handle guest inquiries and concerns with professionalism and efficiency. Implement strategies to enhance the overall dining experience.
• Marketing and Promotions: Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement effective promotional campaigns. Identify opportunities to attract new customers and retain existing ones. Stay updated on industry trends to keep the steakhouse competitive.
• Quality Control: Ensure that all dishes meet the highest standards of quality and consistency.
• Inventory Management: Oversee inventory levels, order supplies, and manage stock rotation.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a General Manager in a high-end restaurant or steakhouse.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• In-depth knowledge of restaurant operations, including front and back of house.
• Customer-focused with a commitment to delivering exceptional dining experiences.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in hospitality management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in restaurant management.
