Executive Housekeeping Manager

The Executive Housekeeping Manager oversees the daily operations of the housekeeping staff, promoting quality service to achieve guest satisfaction. 

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Manage the housekeeping teammates, motivate through training, development, empowerment and coaching.
• Manage and inspect the daily cleaning of all guest rooms, public spaces, and other designated areas.
• Achieve a high level of cleanliness and guest satisfaction.
• Monitor and report on expenses in an effort to control cost while ensuring adequate staff and supplies are on hand to provide top quality service.
• Respond to guest requests, concerns and problems to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Work with the front desk staff to resolve guest issues as they may arise.
• Refer and follow up on maintenance issues with Engineering team to protect hotel assets and to ensure a safe and accident-free environment for teammates and guests.
• Monitor performance of room inspectors to ensure rooms are being cleaned and inspected to company standards.
• Communicate with all departments throughout the property.
• Attend daily stand up meetings as well as weekly staff meeting.
• Responsible for invoicing, calling suppliers, budgeting, researching, ordering, and working with accounting.

Qualifications:

• Demonstrated supervision/management experience.
• Ability to compile facts and figures.
• Ability to meet and maintain budget.
• Must have a flexible schedule - willing to open, close, or work any shift during special events and holidays.
• Must pass a background check.

Experience:

• Minimum one year management/supervisory experience.
• Previous job in a housekeeping/room operations related position.
