Compensation: 18.00/hr, Full-Time

As one of the Cooks/Chefs you will prepare food items in accordance with production requirements and quality standards while maintaining a safe, sanitary work environment

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: 

1. Prepare food of consistent quality following recipe cards and production and portion standards, per check from servers. 

2. Prep food items in accordance with demands of property needs, including Banquets

3. Date all food containers and rotate as per Sonesta standards, making sure that all perishables are kept at proper temperatures. 

4. Check pars for shift use, determine necessary preparation, freezer pull and line set up.  Note in 86 items accordingly.

6. Assist in setting up plans and actions to correct any food cost problems, control food waste, loss and usage per Sonesta standards. 7. Operate, maintain and properly equipment properly.

8.   Follow server requests for each guest  to ensure quality of food meets expectations.
