THE ROLE

The Sales Coordinator will be responsible for providing administrative support to the Sales Managers and the Director of Sales & Revenue, including screening phone calls, taking down all information and forwarding to the specific Sales Manager. The Sales Coordinator will provide excellent guest service to all hotel guests and potential guests, including preparing amenities.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Screens, evaluates and routes incoming phone calls for the sales staff.
  • Responsible for typing and processing sales contracts, drafting various correspondence to clients, hotel departments, and hotel guests as needed.
  • Responsible for maintaining adequate stock of sales collateral, ordering the supplies for the sales department and submits expenses to the Director of Sales & Revenue for approval.
  • Work cooperatively and professionally with co-workers and supervisors.
  • Other guest service duties as assigned.

WHAT WE LOOK FOR:

  • High school graduate.
  • Minimum 2 years experience required as a hotel front office manager or hotel guest services or operations manager in a similar capacity.
  • Must have at least 2 years computer experience in Microsoft Word and Excel in Windows.
  • Must be able to engage with clients and qualify leads.
  • Basic knowledge of web based procurement system preferred; Delphi experience preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of HMS and Cvent preferred.
  • Individuals with passion for customer service and able to work with others seamlessly. This means having no problem collaborating within a diverse team.
  • Dynamic and working calmly under pressure.
  • Ability to be carrying/lifting up to 25 pounds, frequent kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting and occasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs and ramps
