Position Overview
We are seeking a dynamic, hands-on Assistant General Manager (AGM) to partner with the General Manager in leading all aspects of hotel operations. The AGM will play a critical role in driving financial performance, guest satisfaction, team engagement, and brand compliance.
This is an ideal opportunity for a high-performing Rooms Director, Operations Manager, or seasoned Department Head ready to step into a senior leadership role within a lifestyle environment.
Key Responsibilities
Support overall hotel operations including Front Office, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, and Engineering
Drive revenue performance through labor management, expense control, and productivity initiatives
Maintain strong guest satisfaction scores and online reputation metrics
Lead, coach, and develop department leaders and line-level associates
Ensure compliance with Marriott brand standards and operational audits
Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
Foster a culture aligned with Moxy’s energetic, service-forward brand personality
Act as Manager on Duty and step in for the General Manager when needed
Qualifications
4+ years of progressive hotel leadership experience
Previous experience as Director of Rooms, Operations Manager, or equivalent preferred
Strong understanding of P&L management and labor controls
Experience within Marriott or a lifestyle hotel brand preferred
Proven leadership, communication, and team-building skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy environment
Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality or related field preferred
