Summary Description

We are looking for dynamic, engaging leaders who love their city and want to create a memorable and personalized experience for each of our guests. The Reception Supervisors will be responsible for managing the daily operations of the reception desk and will oversee the entire guest experience.
Our front desk supervisors will guide our housekeepers and valets to provide our guests with impeccable service that reflects our DNA: sophisticated, engaging, and connected. At Hotel Humaniti Montreal, we seek people who are passionate about people and who will deliver an experience that embodies our wellness concept to our guests.

Tasks and Responsibilities

  • To support, supervise, and guide the reception team in all processes of interaction with our guests.
  • Participate in the training of the reception team and ensure daily monitoring of learning progress.
  • Ensure that the reception team has the necessary tools for the smooth running of operations.
  • Responsible for customer requests and their completion within the established deadlines according to hotel standards.
  • Monitor the daily operations of the reception area.
  • Responsible for customer satisfaction and complaints management.
  • Respond to customer comments on various booking platforms and ensure after-sales follow-up.
  • Ensures proper management of client files and invoicing.
  • To offer a service that exceeds our clients' expectations and to convey this quality of service to the entire team.
  • Responsible for ensuring compliance with hotel standards and policies.
  • Perform any other related tasks.
  • To ensure a smooth flow of service offered with the different departments of the hotel.

Skills and Requirements

  • College or university diploma in hotel management, or any other equivalent training.
  • Excellent organizational skills, ability to manage priorities and provide outstanding customer service.
  • Excellent ability to establish and maintain good business relationships with other departments and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to work under pressure and know how to manage stress.
  • Proactivity, initiative, and autonomy.
  • Enhanced skills in personnel management.
  • (2) years of experience in the hotel industry, at the reception desk.
  • (1) year of experience in team supervision in the hospitality industry.
  • Bilingual (French and English, a requirement due to an international clientele).
  • Experience with Marriott chain hotels is an asset.
