Summary Description

We are looking for people who love their city and want to create a memorable and personalized experience for each of our guests. From the moment our guests arrive at Hotel Humaniti Montreal, our valets will take center stage and be responsible for being their first point of contact. The exceptional quality of their service will leave a lasting impression on our guests' experience.

Our valets will work closely with the reception team to provide impeccable service that reflects our DNA: sophisticated, engaging, and connected. At Hotel Humaniti Montreal, we seek people who are passionate about people and who will deliver an experience that embodies our wellness concept to our guests.

Tasks and Responsibilities

• Welcoming our guests upon their arrival at the hotel and offering assistance with luggage and other personal items.
• Inform customers about available parking options.
• Park the customer's vehicle in the establishment's parking lot.
• Inspect the vehicle before and after taking possession of it.
• Take inventory of the keys.
• Bring luggage up to the room upon arrival and bring it down upon departure.
• Providing road directions to customers, or assisting them when required.
• Ensure at all times an impeccable presentation of reception areas, corridors, luggage storage and parking.
• Take care of the water dispenser and coffee machine.
• Handling room service deliveries and tray collection.
• Check the rooms upon departure to ensure the guest has left
• Deliver gifts to guest rooms.
• To offer a service that exceeds our clients' expectations and to convey this quality of service to the entire team.
• To ensure a smooth flow of service across the different departments of the hotel.
• Perform any other related tasks.

Skills and Requirements

• Excellent organizational skills, ability to manage priorities and provide outstanding customer service.
• Ability to work under pressure and know how to manage stress.
• Proactivity, initiative and autonomy.
• (2) years of experience in high-end customer service.
• Class 5 driving licence.
• Ability to drive vehicles with manual and automatic transmission.
• Bilingual (French and English, a requirement due to an international clientele).
• Available day, evening, weekend.
• Experience with Marriott chain hotels is an asset.
