As Senior Area Sales Manager, you'll drive group revenue across all five Moxy hotels in New York City: Times Square, Chelsea, East Village, Lower East Side, and Brooklyn Williamsburg.

What You'll Do

• Drive top-line group revenue across your assigned segment(s) — corporate, entertainment, lifestyle, or social — for all five Moxy NYC properties.
• Prospect daily to build a strong pipeline of new business and grow key accounts.
• Own a portfolio of high-value accounts, including third-party planners, DMCs, and Marriott GSO relationships.
• Respond to RFPs and inquiries within established SLAs and drive them to close.
• Partner with the Area Director of Group Sales to execute segment strategy, hit production goals, and adjust to market shifts.
• Conduct site inspections that show off what makes each Moxy property different.
• Use the property sales management system to log activity, block space, build accounts, and forecast pipeline.
• Represent the portfolio at trade shows, industry events, client entertainment, and community functions.
• Partner with Revenue Management, Marketing, F&B, Operations, and Events to deliver group experiences that live up to the Moxy brand.
• Mentor sales coordinators and support their development.
• Stay current on comp set activity, market trends, and customer behavior.

What You Bring

• 4+ years of progressive hotel sales experience, with a proven track record of hitting or exceeding group revenue targets.
• Multi-property or multi-segment experience preferred.
• Deep knowledge of the NYC hotel market — comp set dynamics, key accounts, DMCs, planners, and the venues that move business.
• Strong prospecting and closing skills; you know how to turn a lead into a contract.
• Comfort working cross-functionally with Revenue Management, Marketing, F&B, and Operations.
• Bold, high-energy style that fits the Moxy brand.
