Location: Courtyard by Marriott – Huntsville University Drive

Are you detail-oriented, passionate about cleanliness, and committed to delivering a top-tier guest experience? Join our team at the Courtyard by Marriott Huntsville as a Housekeeping Rooms Inspector and play a key role in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and service excellence.

Position Overview:
As a Housekeeping Rooms Inspector, you will be responsible for inspecting guest rooms to ensure they meet Marriott brand standards for cleanliness, appearance, and functionality. You will support the housekeeping team by completing cleanliness reports, ensuring room readiness, and responding to guest and departmental needs with professionalism and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect rooms cleaned by room attendants to ensure high Marriott standards are met

  • Enter room statuses and complete inspection checklists

  • Communicate with management and other departments regarding room status and issues

  • Assist in training, coaching, and motivating housekeeping staff as needed

  • Maintain a clean, professional appearance and uphold company policies and safety standards

  • Respond promptly to guest requests and ensure guest satisfaction

  • Identify opportunities to improve housekeeping processes and overall quality

  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred

  • Minimum of 1 year of housekeeping or related experience required

  • Ability to lift up to 55 lbs, push/pull housekeeping carts, and stand/walk for extended periods

  • Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills

  • Must be dependable, detail-oriented, and guest-focused

  • Upscale and Premium Marriott experience a plus!
