Bring the Glow to Scottsdale’s Most Relaxed Escape

At The Scott Resort & Spa, every detail helps create an unforgettable desert escape. From the lush, Havana-inspired pool scene to the welcoming lobby and sun-soaked walkways, our public spaces set the tone for genuine hospitality in the heart of Scottsdale.

We’re looking for an energetic, detail-loving team member to help keep our resort looking polished, fresh, and effortlessly inviting during afternoon and evening hours. If you take pride in a sparkling finish, enjoy staying active, and love being part of a team that makes guests feel genuinely cared for, this could be your next great opportunity.

This is a PM position requiring afternoon and evening availability, especially on weekends. No overnight shifts.

Why You’ll Love Working Here

  • Be part of a friendly, fun, and heartfelt team at one of Scottsdale’s distinctive resort destinations.
  • Work in an atmosphere where palm trees, poolside energy, desert sunsets, and genuine guest connections are all part of the day.
  • Make a visible difference: your work helps create the first impression, the relaxing escape, and the polished experience guests remember.
  • Join a team guided by a meaningful purpose: Making Space for Genuine Hospitality.
  • Bring our values to life every day: Hands On & Heartfelt, Sincere & Focused, Collaborative & Curious, and Conscientious.

What You’ll Do

You’ll help keep our guest-facing spaces immaculate, welcoming, and ready for the next memorable Scottsdale moment. Your work will include:

  • Dusting furniture, artwork, fixtures, and accessories throughout public areas.
  • Maintaining pool areas by attending to towels, trash, lounge-chair appearance, and overall cleanliness.
  • Cleaning and restocking public restrooms, including sinks, toilets, urinals, mirrors, tile, counters, walls, stalls, vents, floors, and paper products.
  • Cleaning and polishing metal surfaces to maintain a refined resort presentation.
  • Emptying trash and cleaning ashtrays in outdoor public areas.
  • Monitoring lobbies, walkways, outdoor seating areas, and pools for glasses, waste, trash, and other items needing attention.
  • Supporting Housekeeping leadership and Room Attendants as needed to maintain resort standards.
  • Helping guests with friendly directions, information, and assistance whenever requested.
  • Reporting suspicious activity, safety concerns, and hazardous conditions to the Safety and Security Department.
  • Providing guidance to guests and fellow associates during fire or other emergency situations.

What Makes You a Great Fit

  • You’re reliable, ethical, honest, and committed to showing up ready to contribute.
  • You communicate clearly and respectfully with guests and fellow team members.
  • You understand that the little details matter—especially in a luxury resort setting.
  • You can read, understand, and communicate in English for safety, security, product-label, and emergency-instruction purposes.
  • You can follow instructions, cleaning procedures, and departmental standards with care and consistency.
  • You’re comfortable using cleaning products and equipment safely; knowledge of stain removal and chemical cleaning agents is a plus.
  • Previous janitorial or public-area cleaning experience is preferred, but a positive attitude and commitment to high standards go a long way.

What the Work Requires

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Ability to bend, stoop, push, pull, and move equipment throughout the shift.
  • Ability to lift equipment or furniture weighing up to 100 pounds.
  • Ability to maintain a polished, professional appearance appropriate for a four-diamond resort.
  • Dependable attendance as scheduled, including afternoon, evening, and weekend shifts.

Make Space for Genuine Hospitality

At The Scott Resort & Spa, we believe every guest deserves respect, professionalism, and a warm welcome. Our team creates heartfelt moments that bring guests back to Scottsdale again and again—and every beautifully maintained public space plays a part.

If you’re ready to stay active, take pride in exceptional presentation, and help create a resort experience that shines from lobby to poolside, we’d love to welcome you to the team.

About Marc & Rose Hospitality

Practicing Genuine Hospitality Since 1962

Marc & Rose is a hospitality collective of iconic resorts and hidden gems, each rooted in its destination and united by a shared purpose: to make space for genuine hospitality. As owner-operators, we believe hospitality is more than service -- it's a daily practice rooted in empathy, curiosity, and care. Every property has its own character, but all are connected by a commitment to creating thoughtful experiences that bring people together.

Our purpose comes to life through four guiding pillars: Hands-On & Heartfelt, Sincere & Focused, Collaborative & Curious, and Always Conscientious. These values shape how we welcome our guests, support one another, and continually learn, grow, and improve.

We know that each of us is the host one day; the next, the traveler. That perspective reminds us to approach every interaction with empathy, intention, and care. It shapes how we welcome our guests, support our colleagues, and build places where people feel they belong. Because genuine hospitality isn't defined by a single role -- it's created by every person who chooses to practice it.

Working at Marc & Rose means being part of a team that takes pride in the details, invests in your growth, and believes the best experiences come from people who genuinely want to be there. Across a collection of distinctive destinations, you'll find meaningful work, room to grow your craft, and colleagues who care about doing things well.

If that sounds like you, we'd love to welcome you.
