The sales manager is responsible for developing and promoting hotel sales in close collaboration with the director of sales and marketing. Driven by a passion for results, they actively contribute to the implementation of strategies aimed at maximizing occupancy rate and average rate, while strengthening the visibility and attractiveness of the establishment.
Responsibilities- Develop and maintain key business relationships and partnerships to increase rates, volume and company revenue
- Negotiate group rates, develop and generate group contracts
- Keep client files up to date, create sales reports and ensure rigorous monitoring of performance.
- Work closely with other hotel departments, participate in weekly meetings and contribute to the execution of the marketing plan.
- Maintain an active presence in the tourism and business community (chamber of commerce, competitors, convention centers) to increase the visibility of the establishment.
- Performs well in proactive sales.
- Strong expertise in human and financial management.
- Creative, positive, communicative personality focused on results.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in sales or hospitality.
- Mastery of hotel computer systems, such as Delphi.
- Bilingualism (English and French), oral and written.
